Recently we have been invited to a new hotel at Georgetown to review their buffet steamboat. Penaga Hotel which located at corner of Jalan Hutton & Lebuh Clarke, restored classic buildings converted into a boutique hotel in UNESCO World Heritage site George Town Malaysia. Hotel Penaga has five star luxury in an intimate environment.
They have just launched a steamboat buffet promotion which only cost RM38 per person for adult. The ingredient for steamboat like prawn, crab, dolly fish, chicken meat, jelly fish, fish ball, crab meat ball, beef ball, bird egg, chicken egg and many more are prepared freshly together with chicken soup and tomyam soup. Although there is not much special on the steamboat, however the feeling of having the steamboat in a heritage hotel is totally different. The environment is very nice and comfortable.
They have 2 section of dinning area. One is for the steamboat buffet and another one for fine dining.
The lobby and waiting area are prepared with nice sofa for rest while waiting for room or friends.
The library totally have the heritage feel which full with antique furniture.
There is also a small bar to let you enjoy some drink during free time.
A nice swimming pool covered with glass which look like aquarium where you can see people swimming from side.
