International Buffet Dinner @ Dondang Sayang Corus Hotel KL

We have reach KL and happy to receive invitation from Corus Hotel for the international buffet review at their Dondang Sayang Coffee House. Thanks to the Marketing Manager, Kelly that arrange the buffet review for us. The place is easy to find, it located at Jalam Ampang and walking distance to KLCC.

I believe those who always took Aeroline bus should know this hotel as this is one of their service centre located, but have you tried the food served by the Hotel? I personally recommend the international buffet if you are looking for nice food, there is not much choice on the food but it is more than enough to have a dinner. I actually more prefer quality compare to quantity, it is not important on the choice. The most important thing, the taste is good.

Thanks to the chef that have prepared some food for photo taking

The environment was nice, there is cafe and bar beside which have people playing piano and band. Enjoying music along the buffet dinner

Before we start our buffet, the chef had prepared their ala carte chicken rice for tasting. It cannot compare with those famous chicken rice outside, but the taste is good enough as a normal chicken rice.

To start the buffet I have chosen my favourite lamb and beef 🙂

I did not take the crab as I do not like crab, so no comment. The mussel is fresh, normally mussel will have some fishy smell which I do not like. But for this one is fine, may be is the way they cook have covered the smell.

After taken some food I have stop by the live cooking area and order some grill lamb, beef and salmon. Nice!

Some sushi for sushi lover

Fresh Oyster… Yummy…

I did not try the “Gado-Gado”. The chef told me that it is Malay food which serve with peanut sauce

Bread with butter and cheese… yumyum…

Chicken Tom Yam Soup and Mushroom Soup

There is various type of salad for you to choose with different type of sauce

Fruit and “Rojak” which is famous in Malaysia especially Penang

Ice Kacang!!

After food is time for some desert

It stated there Malay Kuih but I fell it is more to Nyonya Kuih

Finnally, end the buffet with their in house coffee. The coffee is very nice and I taken 2 cups 🙂
